Pollen
Pollen is a fine powder found in seed plants which contain microgametophytes, the cell possible to create male sperm cells. The pollen grains have a hard coat that protect them from movement between different parts of plants. When pollen finds a compatible pistol of a plant, it will germinate and produce a tube making transfer to the receptive ovary possible. Grains are very small, but pictured here is pollen from a Magnolia on a Magnolia tree.
